Sarah Millican: Home Bird

Sarah Millican- Home Bird

Sarah Millican- Home Bird

Britain’s favourite comedienne Sarah Millican will be hitting London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 8 November and 9 November 2013 as part of her ‘Home Bird’ tour. The loveably charming and sometimes provocative Sarah Millican is one of Britain’s rising stars on the stand-up scene, and this Geordie girl is bound to make you giggle with her down-to-earth style of comedy. She has recently secured a second series of her own show on TV and her live DVD has been released. Her stand-up routine even includes cheeky tips about how to teach a pensioner to swear! The show starts at 8pm and ticket prices begin at £25.

The Hammersmith Apollo is one of London’s largest venues, with a capacity of 3,600 for seated shows and 5,000 for stand-only concerts. It’s beautiful art-deco interior makes it a highly attractive venue, and interestingly enough it was originally intended to be a cinema. It is also the setting for Live At The Apollo, screened on BBC1. The nearest tube station to the Apollo is Hammersmith Tube Station, less than 2 minutes away, and if you are travelling into London check out our deals on the Best Western Plus Seraphine Hotel, a mere 5 minutes away.
