Beatles let it be at savoy theatreHave you been to see the spectacular Beatles musical Let It Be at the Savoy Theatre yet? The production transferred to the venue following a successful run at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Since its first show at the theatre in February 2013, thousands of audience members have enjoyed the Beatles extravaganza. The show is currently taking bookings for throughout 2014.

Let It Be features over 20 of The Beatles’ most popular hits and follows their journey from the Cavern Club in Liverpool through to them becoming a global phenomenon with the onset of Beatle-mania. Audiences can expect to hear some of the most famous tracks ever written, including Come Together, Yesterday, Twist and Shout, Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Hey Jude and of course the title track Let It Be, to name just a handful.

Let It Be further recreates the sound of the swinging sixties with a live band playing throughout the show. The production will also feature video footage and rare photographs of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison. A rotating cast plays the parts of the Fab Four. The Daily Telegraph’s Charles Spencer said: “The hits just keep on coming. For those who love The Beatles, this show is about as good as it gets.

London’s Savoy Theatre first opened its doors in 1881 and has played host to a variety of theatrical productions ever since. From 2009 the venue has been home to some of the biggest musical names in the West End including Legally Blonde, Never Forget and Dreamboats and Petticoats. The venue is located close to several of the capital city’s Tube stations, meaning it can be reached from all London hotels.
