Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will be playing at Wembley Stadium on 15 June 2013. The legendary Springsteen will of course be playing several iconic hits such as Born in the USA and Dancing in the Dark, as well as relatively new tracks from his latest album entitled ‘Wrecking Ball’. This album has received extremely positive reviews from music critics as well as five-star ratings from Rolling Stone magazine and The Independent. This gig will be one of 17 dates Springsteen will be playing during the European leg of his tour this summer, and his fifth appearance in Wembley is bound to be nothing less than massive. Wembley Stadium is the second largest stadium in Europe, and took three years to rebuild after its demolition in 2003. Around £757 million went into the careful recreation of the England football team’s home soil, and it will most definitely be able to match and host Springsteen’s incomparable onstage personality and grand-scale shows perfectly well. Doors open at 7pm, and ticket prices for the concert range between £62.50 and £50.

The nearest station is Wembley Park Tube station, a ten-minute walk away. For quick and well-needed comfort after a surely tiring night of enjoyment, or if you are travelling into London, here is a link to one of the closest hotels.
